We pack up the van with every possible thing we might need and hit the road for at least 2 weeks each year. The further we go from people in general, the happier we usually are. Sometimes the winds just about take us down, but mostly we have a great time.

This is of one of the towers at Hovenweep. We camp there and explore the surrounding area (Canyons of the Ancients). It's one of our favorite spots and we almost always end our trips out west with a view of Sleeping Ute Mountain.

We tend toward the rugged and beautiful and are always searching for ancestral sites and rock art.
